Privacy policy
The short version
- We collect what you type into our forms, and nothing you didn't type.
- We use it to quote your work and do your work. That's it.
- We don't sell it, rent it, or put you on a mailing list.
- Your part photos and files stay between us. We don't share them with other customers.
- Ask us to delete your information and we will.
This summary is here so you don't have to read the whole page to know where you stand. The sections below are the actual policy.
01 About this policy
This policy explains what CyberForge Labs LLC ("CyberForge Labs," "we," "us") does with information you give us through this website or in the course of work we do for you.
It describes what the site actually does, not what a template says a website might do. If we add something that changes the answer, we update this page and bump its version. The terms governing the work itself are covered separately in our terms and conditions.
02 What we collect
What you type into a form
Our quote form and portal signup form collect only what's in the fields:
- Your name, email address, and company if you give one
- Your industry, city and state, and shipping address on the portal form
- What you tell us about your part and what you need
- Any photos or files you attach
- A record that you accepted our terms, and which version
What comes along automatically
When you submit a form, the request carries a timestamp and the technical details any web request carries — your IP address and browser type — which our hosting provider logs as part of running the site. We don't do anything with those beyond security and troubleshooting.
What we don't collect
We don't ask for payment card details on this website. When it's time to pay, that happens through an invoice and a payment processor who handles the card details directly — we never see or store them. We also don't collect social security numbers, date of birth, or any sensitive personal category, and we have no reason to.
03 How we use it
We use what you give us to:
- Understand what you need and quote it
- Do the work, and ship the part back to you
- Reply to you, and keep a thread of the conversation
- Invoice you and keep the records a business is required to keep
- Keep a record of the terms you accepted and when
That's the complete list. We don't build profiles, we don't score or segment you, and we don't feed your information into advertising systems.
04 Your terms acceptance record
When you tick the box agreeing to our terms, we record that you accepted, which version was in effect, and when. That record is attached to your submission and kept as a business record.
It exists to protect both of us: it means neither party has to reconstruct from memory what was agreed, and it means you can always find out exactly which version of our terms applied to your job. We archive every version of our terms, so the version number always points at a document you can read.
Because it's a record of an agreement, we keep it even if you ask us to delete other information — see section 10.
05 Who else touches it
We're a small company and we use a few services to run the site. Your information passes through them. Each is named here, along with what it actually does:
- Vercel
- Hosts this website and runs the code that receives form submissions. Standard web server logs, including IP addresses.
- Resend
- Delivers the email that carries your submission to us, and the confirmation that goes back to you.
- Google Workspace
- Our email. Your message and any attachments land in our inbox and stay there.
- Google Fonts
- This site loads its typefaces from Google's font servers, which means your browser makes a request to Google when the page loads. Google receives your IP address as part of that request. No cookie is set.
- Payment processor
- When you pay an invoice. They handle card details directly; we only see that a payment succeeded.
We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or share it with anyone for their own purposes. The only other times we'd disclose anything are if the law requires it, or if we ever sold the business — in which case customer records would transfer with it, and this policy would go with them.
06 Cookies and analytics
This site currently sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. There's no advertising pixel, no session recording, and no third-party tracker embedded in these pages.
We expect to add basic website analytics at some point — the kind that tells us which pages people read and where they arrived from. If and when we do, we'll rewrite this section to say exactly what's running and what it stores, and bump the version at the top of this page before it goes live.
If you're reading this and want to check we've kept our word, your browser's developer tools will show you every cookie and script on the page. We'd rather you verify than take our word for it.
07 Your parts, photos and files
Photos you send, scan data we capture from your part, and any models we produce are treated as yours. We don't share them with other customers, license them to anyone, or use them to produce parts for anyone else.
We may photograph parts we work on for our own portfolio and social media. If you'd rather we didn't, tell us and we won't — before, during or after the job, no reason needed. We never publish customer names, drawings or files without written permission.
Retention of files is covered in our terms and conditions: we hold a working copy for 12 months so you can come back for a revision without a rescan, and we'll delete sooner on request.
08 How long we keep it
- Scan data and working files
- 12 months after the job, then deleted. Sooner if you ask.
- Email correspondence
- Kept as a record of what was discussed and agreed. We'll delete a thread on request where we're not required to keep it.
- Invoices and payment records
- Kept as long as tax and business record requirements demand — generally seven years.
- Terms acceptance records
- Kept for as long as a claim relating to that work could reasonably be brought.
- Server logs
- Retained by our hosting provider on their standard schedule, typically a matter of weeks.
09 Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are encrypted in transit, and access to our systems is protected by strong authentication. The services we rely on are established providers with their own security programs.
We'll be straight with you about the limits: we're a small company, not a bank, and no one can promise a system is unbreakable. What we can promise is that we don't hold more of your information than we need, which is the most effective security measure there is.
10 Your rights
Whatever state you're in, you can ask us to do any of the following and we'll do it — we don't require you to prove a legal entitlement first:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Send you a copy of it
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete it
Email sales@cyberforgelabs.ai and we'll respond within 45 days, usually much sooner. We may need to confirm it's really you before we act on a request.
There are two limits. We can't delete records we're legally required to keep, such as invoices and tax records. And we keep terms acceptance records as described in section 4, because deleting the evidence of an agreement would leave us both worse off.
Residents of Texas, California, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights by statute, including the right to appeal if we refuse a request and, in some states, to complain to the state attorney general. Since we don't sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there's nothing to opt out of on those fronts.
11 Children
This is a business service and it isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
12 Marketing
We don't run a mailing list, and submitting a quote request doesn't subscribe you to anything. The only emails you'll get from us are about your own job — a confirmation, a quote, questions about your part, shipping updates and invoices.
If that ever changes, it'll be opt-in. We won't add you to a list because you once asked us to scan something.
13 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Each version carries a version number and effective date at the top of the page, and previous versions are archived.
If we ever make a change that materially affects how we handle information we already hold about you — adding tracking, or a new way of using your data — we'll say so plainly rather than quietly revising the page.
14 Contact
Questions about this policy, or a request about your information, go to sales@cyberforgelabs.ai. We reply within one business day.

Want something removed?
Email us and it's done. You don't need to cite a statute, fill in a form, or explain why — a sentence is enough, and we'd rather handle it in a minute than make you work for it.
